Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Card Hydra ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. By using Card Hydra, you agree to the practices described here.

Card Hydra requests access to your device's camera to capture images of physical cards for recognition. When you scan a card:

• The captured image is securely transmitted to our servers for card recognition inference.
• The recognition result is returned to your device and the image is immediately discarded from our servers, unless Debug Mode is enabled (see Section 3).
• Images are never saved to your device's photo library without your explicit action.
• No images are used for advertising or shared with third parties.

You can revoke camera permission at any time through your device's Settings app. Without camera access, the card scanning feature will not function.

Card Hydra includes an optional Debug Mode, which you can enable in the app's settings. When Debug Mode is turned on:

• Images captured during scanning are retained on our secure servers after processing.
• These images are used solely to review and improve the accuracy of our card recognition algorithms.
• Retained images are not linked to any personally identifiable information.
• You can disable Debug Mode at any time, and may request deletion of any previously stored images by contacting us.

Images transmitted to our servers are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Our servers are access-controlled and not shared with third-party services. We retain transmitted images only as described in Section 3.

Regardless of Debug Mode, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Any analytics or usage telemetry

Card Hydra does not integrate with third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers. Any third-party libraries used in the app are limited to core functionality and are not granted access to camera data or transmitted images.

Card Hydra is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
